garden update

Our garden has changed a lot since the initial gardening post about 3 weeks ago. Here are a few photos taken today to document some of the growth.

In the lefthand photo above, we had several spinach plants on the left side of the garden, but in the photo to the right there are none. That is because rabbits ate them all while we were out of town last weekend. You might also notice a trap in the upper portion of the newer photo :)

a better look at our kitchen

Since we've installed the display cabinets, pantry & crown molding, I figured it was time to take up-to-date photos of the entire kitchen. I've posted photos of the demolition process, as well as the kitchen progress back in December. After the last post on the most recent kitchen updates, I decided it was about time to take photos of the entire space, & not just the side with the new display cabinets.

mini master bathroom makeover

When we first arrived in Louisville, the small bathroom off of the master bedroom was in pretty bad shape. Since the house was built in the 1960s, & nothing was updated until this year, all of the originals were still in place...including sliding glass doors with two blue herons. I'm not kidding.

hearth love

I'm pretty much in love with how our hearth room has turned out so far. The last post I made was about painting our fireplace. Since then we have done a lot!
